Corporate Fasting

At Victory Christian Outreach Church, we are setting aside three days of fasting from 6 AM to 4 PM as a time of consecration, prayer, and seeking God’s direction. This fast is an opportunity to deny the flesh, grow in spiritual discipline, and draw closer to God through intentional time in His presence.

Fasting is a biblical principle that positions us to hear from God, break strongholds, and align our hearts with His will. Jesus Himself fasted for 40 days (Matthew 4:2), teaching us the power of denying the body to strengthen the spirit. Isaiah 58:6 reminds us that fasting is meant to “loose the chains of injustice… set the oppressed free and break every yoke.” As we commit to this time of prayer and fasting, we believe for **breakthroughs, clarity, and a fresh outpouring of His Spirit.

We encourage you to spend these fasting hours in prayer and scripture, replacing physical nourishment with spiritual renewal. Philippians 4:6-7 calls us to bring everything to God in prayer, trusting that His peace will guard our hearts and minds.
